Calls companion
A desktop app that sits next to your video calls. It records, follows the conversation live, surfaces what you know about the prospect, and brings the notes back into your workspace.
Overview
The companion runs on your computer, alongside Zoom, Google Meet or Teams. You start a recording before a client call and the app captures the conversation so you can stay fully present instead of taking notes.
During the call it follows along and surfaces context about the person you are talking to, plus reminders drawn from what you already know about them. After the call, a clean summary and your notes land on the contact, ready for the follow-up.
What it does
Your day, ready
The home shows your upcoming calls. Open one to review the prospect before you dial, then start recording in a click with their file already loaded.
Live recording
Capture the call from the app or straight from the menu bar. Start and stop whenever you want, you stay in control of what is recorded.
Live transcript
See the conversation written out as it happens, so nothing important slips by.
Answers anchored on the prospect
Reminders and suggested angles based on what you already know about them, not generic scripts.
Notes that stay attached
Jot anything during the call. It stays with the recording and the contact.
Automatic follow-up
When the call ends, a summary is added to the contact so your next step is teed up.

Download the companion and open it on your computer.

Pair it once with your Freelance OS workspace. You can switch between several spaces later.

Pick a meeting from your day or start recording manually, then talk to your client.

The recording, transcript, notes and summary show up on the contact, ready for the follow-up.
Privacy & consent
Recording a call requires consent. Always let the people on the call know they are being recorded, and follow the rules that apply where you and they are. You choose when recording starts and stops, and everything stays tied to your own workspace.
