Create promo codes for your bookings, invoices and products, and grow your audience with a rewarded referral program.

Overview

Business groups the incentive-based acquisition and retention levers: discount coupons and the referral program. Two classic mechanics, integrated with the rest of Kernel.

Coupons are promo codes (fixed amount or percentage) with a validity window, a max redemption count and a target (bookings, invoices, products). They plug straight into checkout.

Referral turns your clients into advocates. Each member has a referral link, referees are attributed automatically, rewards trigger on purchase. A leaderboard and payout management round it out.

What the module does

Coupons and discounts

Promo codes for the workspace's bookings, invoices and products. You choose the discount type, value, currency, validity period and redemption cap.

  • Fixed or percentage discount

Referral program

Each member has a unique referral link. Referees who sign up via that link are attributed automatically, and the purchase triggers the reward defined in the program.

Leaderboard

A ranking of top referrers, by number of referees and conversions. Enough to energize the community and reward ambassadors.

Referral payouts

The payouts page tracks what is owed to each referrer and the state of payments. Rewards don't get lost in a spreadsheet.

How to use it

    In /business/coupons/new define the code, discount, target and validity.

    Share the code

    The code applies at checkout for bookings, invoices or products.

    Enable referral

    Configure the program and reward in /business/referral/program.

    Members invite

    Each member shares their link; referees are attributed automatically.

    Reward and pay

    Track the leaderboard and settle payouts to top referrers.
